Description

Daciano da Costa designed the interior architecture and furniture of the Rectorate of the University of Lisbon (1960). It was his first major commission after the opening of his studio.

The Atelier started a pioneering work of reeditions by the designer Daciano da Costa with the aim of reintroducing the pieces and objects in new environments, rewriting the history of Portuguese design. 

The variety of models of seating betray the influence of the Scandinavian production, the elegant proportions, the tapering extremities, the combination of leather and velvet in the same piece.
