ESTREMOZ MARBLE
Geological framework
These crystalline limestones, whose probable geological
age is Cambrian to upper Siluric, are integrated in the SW
flank of the Estremoz-Borba-Vila Viçosa (Alto Alentejo) anticlinorium.

Macroscopy Description
White marble slightly pink and gray, with a medium grain,
fine structure and saccharide.
Microscopy Description
Calcitic marble with granoblastic texture and great textural
homogeneity.
Made in Portugal.
