Description
Daciano da Costa was a professor at the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Lisbon for twenty-five years.
The book presents a set of reflections and testimonies as well as a set of scattered texts and documents, many of them unpublished, which Daciano has been producing throughout his life and which will never have been printed.
Daciano’s pedagogical experience was decisive for the definition of the conceptual and methodological framework and for the implementation of a teaching program in the area of Design.
But the relationship that Daciano da Costa established with teaching was never confined within the Academy’s borders. His involvement with the teaching and learning processes – in short, training – started with the practices developed in his own studio, in the project and beyond, and extended to the various spheres of his professional activity.
